This policy explains what personal data WornSole ("we", "us") collects when you use wornsole.com, why we collect it and the choices you have. WornSole is a flight comparison service: we show fares and send you to airlines and travel agencies to book. We never take payments or hold bookings.
1. Who is responsible

2. Data we collect
- Searches: origin, destination, dates, passenger count, cabin, currency and language. Linked to your account if you are signed in; otherwise stored with a salted, irreversible hash of your IP address.
- Account data: email address, name (optional), a hashed password (Argon2id), language, currency, home airport and marketing preference.
- Price alerts: the routes and dates you track and the prices we observed for them.
- Click-outs: when you choose an offer we record the route, price, partner and time so we can attribute commissions and improve results.
- Technical data: IP address (used transiently for security, rate limiting and to suggest your nearest airport), browser user-agent and server logs kept for up to 30 days.
3. Why we use it (legal bases)
- To run searches and show results — performance of our service.
- To operate your account and send alerts you asked for — contract.
- To prevent abuse and keep the service secure — legitimate interests.
- To send optional news and deals — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share it with
- Travelpayouts / Aviasales: when we query live prices we pass your IP address, browser user-agent and the search parameters, as their API requires. When you click an offer you leave our site and the partner's privacy policy applies.
- Amazon Web Services (SES): to deliver transactional emails.
- Map tiles: the Explore map loads tiles from our configured tile provider, which receives your IP address.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers acting on our instructions.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.
5. Retention
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Anonymous search and click records are kept for up to 24 months in aggregated or pseudonymised form. Technical logs are deleted after 30 days.
6. Your rights
You can access, export (Account → Settings → Download my data), correct or delete your data at any time, object to processing and lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.
